Critical Updates Can Save Your PC
Making sure your Windows Updates are set to “on” is important in healthy computer maintenance. When Microsoft finds errors in programs or new viruses, it creates updates to be installed on your computer. These updates are free, easy to install and keep your PC running.
To make Windows automatically update:
- Go to Control Panel from the Start Menu and select System.
- Then look in the Automatic Updates tab and make sure “Automatic Updates” is selected. This will automatically install updates (and possibly restart your computer) at a time you select daily.
Installing windows updates will provide you with the most up-to-date virus protection, and fix and bugs in your current windows installation.
