TIPS AND TRICKS

Outlook Tips that You Might Not Know

These Outlook 2007 tips may look commonplace to the Outlook savvy, but see how many you know and how many of them can “up” your productivity:

  • Open Calendar, Contacts, or Task List in a separate window. Try this when you need to switch between your Inbox and Calendar.  Right-click on any of the navigation buttons and choose Open in New Window. You can use Alt-Tab to navigate between the windows.
  • Display multiple dates in the Calendar. Display multiple, noncontiguous dates by going to the monthly display at the upper left of the Calendar window, and Ctrl-click on each date that you want to view. Display continuous dates by dragging your mouse over the series of dates you need on the monthly calendar.
  • Add a contact from an email message. To add the sender of an email message, go to the message itself (not to the message list), right-click on the sender’s name, and choose Add to Outlook Contacts.

Even the simplest tips can save you time and improve your productivity!
