Manual Bookmarks in PDF Documents
Find critical sections of your PDF documents by placing manual bookmarks in the body of the PDF text! To use this feature, you will need a complete version of the Adobe Acrobat software. First, go to the pages needing bookmarks and set up the page view and magnification settings you prefer.
- Launch Acrobat and open the PDF document that you want to bookmark.
- Press F6 to open the Navigation pane and click the Bookmarks tab to display the palette on top.
- Go to the first destination page using the Navigation toolbar or navigation buttons in the Document window.
- If you haven’t prepared the destination page yet, select the appropriate options from the View menu or use the Zoom toolbar and Documents status bar to set your page and magnification preferences.
- Choose the New Bookmark command on the Options menu at the top of the Bookmarks palette, or press Ctrl+B.
- Type a descriptive name for your new bookmark and press Enter.
Repeat the whole process as needed to efficiently navigate through your PDF document. You will now be able to find key areas quickly rather than scan long documents to find what you need!!
