Lock Down!

Working with large spreadsheets in Excel can be a dizzying experience when you can no longer see your headings. Make sure you keep sight of the rows and columns that matter by “locking” them down using these simple steps:

Select the row below or the column to the right of where you want to freeze
Go to the Windows menu and click on Freeze Panes.

Increase traffic to your website by posting website surveys. Expand your returning visitors by using these innovative suggestions.

When planning a conference or event, survey your audience for key topics and suggested locations.
Conduct a survey about your products and services and attach a raffle for your viewing audience. Use the survey form as the entry form and collect contact data. Conduct a monthly survey and raffle to motivate your audience to return regularly.
Hold an employee survey and let employees elect an “Employee of the Month.” Your staff will become very familiar with your site’s contents.
Reward returning visitors by inviting them to participate in a “special survey.” Ask your special guests to create “a Top 10 List” on a topic of interest. Email participants the survey’s results and they will return eagerly to view the next survey.
