TIPS AND TRICKS
A Break-Up that Isn’t Hard to Do!
It can’t be helped sometimes---you will come across a bulleted list that requires you to write text in between bulleted items, but is NOT part of the list. What’s a Word user to do?
- Begin the list by clicking on the Bullets icon, or by selecting the Format menu from the toolbar and choosing Bullets & Numbering.
- Type your bulleted list.
- Type the last item before the break in the list and then press Shift+Enter
- Your text will be flush with the bulleted margin, but will not have a bullet point.
- To return to the next bulleted item on your list, press Enter.
Breaks within a bulleted list just got easier with this simple tip!
