Keeping Column Headers Visible

Sometimes an Excel 2003 spreadsheet can have so much information you can’t see the column headers anymore and can’t remember which data goes into what column. Let MS Excel perform “split” so you can see your column headers at all times:

  • Move your cursor to the end of the row containing the column headers
  • Choose the Menu Item Window, and select Split. All the rows at the cursor and above will now stay frozen as you scroll down the rest of the document.
  • To remove the split, choose Window from the Menu, and select Remove Split.
