Migrating paper-based scholarship applications to an online system
One of our clients that uses our Online Application Manager awarded 367 scholarships last year from over 6,000 applications processed during their one month open application period. Two years ago, the client received about 2,000 applications. Our client's nine page paper application was converted to a user friendly online application. Application requirements, unique to individual programs, appear automatically based on selections made by each applicant. This year, our client expects to receive over 7,000 applications and will award 525 scholarships!
Centralizing membership database and streamlining report process
A prominent trade association had multiple databases used for different member functions. Each database was important but they were not integrated. As a result, each record was entered multiple times, data was out of date and mass mailings were difficult to complete. Our client now uses our Online Contact Manager as its central member database. Event registrations, committee management and membership interaction are all managed through the system. Staff has been given different levels of access based on their functions and can access the system from any web browser so that information is available to them when they are on the road.
Improving HR efficiency by improving recruiting process
Our client needed a way to advertise internal job openings for current employees to see. The client added our job posting manager to its intranet site and made it possible for its employee base to view and apply for current opening. Staff was thrilled that they were given this chance and management was excited by the system's ease of use and immediate acceptance by its staff.
Keeping your website up to date, without a web programmer
Our client, a professional service firm, wanted to promote its specialized expertise and become known as the industry expert. The firm had experts willing to write technical articles relevant to their clients but had no way to distribute the knowledge on a timely basis. Our client installed our Online Newsletter on their homepage and began immediately to post timely and relevant news items on their website. Now, staff and partners contribute new articles nearly every day. Two partners comprise the editorial board and have final authority to publish the most interesting articles for the firm's clients. Clients have told the firm that they visit the site on a regular basis to keep up to date and to learn the latest industry trends. Our client has achieved its purpose and is viewed as a key client resource and industry expert!
Creating an online store
A large private consulting firm decided to sell its promotional products to over 1000 employees of the company. They had received many staff requests for apparel and specialty items with the company's logo but had no process for selling and distributing the items to their staff. Our client now uses our store, hosted in a secure environment, and allows its staff to purchase over 100 items from the store using their own credit cards. Now staff proudly wears and displays the company name and logo wherever they go!
Online surveys made easy
Our client provides a great service to its membership by sponsoring an online survey for its members to complete. Each member completes several surveys and our online survey manager calculates automatically the results of each survey and graphs the survey results. Each member receives a personalized report and can compare its results to those of other organization with similar characteristics. The survey is confidential, completed in a secure environment and the comparative data is compiled without attribution. Survey participants are thrilled with the information they receive and believe our client provides a great member service.
Event registration process easier to manage
One of our clients manages six member conferences each year. Thousands of attendees join this organization each year to network, learn and build business relationships. Each conference, whether it is national or regional, is organized using our online registration manager. Prospective attendees sign up for general and specific sessions, dinner dances, golf and tennis tournaments and special outings in no time at all. Upon completing the registration form, an invoice is presented, the registrant completes the secure payment process and an automated email confirms the registration. Registration data is accumulated by event, session and outing so that rosters, badges and additional mailings are completed automatically.
